Log on early
The broadcast will start one hour before the performance starts. We recommend logging on before the performance, if possible, to make sure everything’s working alright.
Reload the page before the performance starts
If you connect to the live stream early, it is a good idea to reload the page a few minutes before the performance begins.
Stable internet connection
Make sure you have a reliable and strong internet connection.
Sound
Make sure you have good sound equipment, either speakers or headphones.

Need help? . If you can't find what you are looking for, call us at 040-208500 and we will do anything we can to help! We will be available one hour before and 30 minutes after the performance starts. Keep in mind that we unfortunately won’t be able to help you with technical issues having to do with the equipment in your home.

Will I be able to pause, rewind or watch the performance later?

No. Due to copyright issues, the performance will only be broadcasted live. You will not be able to pause, rewind or watch it at another time.

Which web browser do you recommend?

We recommend using Chrome (we can not guarantee the quality in older browsers like Internet Explorer).

I want to watch the live stream on my television. How do I do that?

If you want to connect the live stream to your TV, this can be done with an HDMI cable.

Will the live stream work if I’m abroad?

Yes, the live stream will work regardless of which country you are in.

I haven’t received the email with my password.

Doublecheck in your spam folder. If you haven’t received the email before the broadcast, let us know at bokning@malmoopera.se.

My password doesn’t work

Type the entire password in the box, make sure CAPS LOCK isn’t activated.

If the video is choppy or not playing smooth, what can I do?  

Try adjusting the resolution by tapping the cogwheel icon in the bottom right corner of the video player.
